Hi  I just went to check my privacy settings, and it is set to show my email address to everyone. If I try to change it to staff only, or friends and staff only, when I hit save, it reverts back to show my email address to everyone. I'm not sure if it's actually showing it to everyone, but is there a way to change that? |

I'm not sure where it is showing your email. I don't see it, but I can be blind as a bat about that kind of stuff. All I see is dalaimama2 and don't see it anywhere when I click on your name either. Where are you seeing it?

Ok, if you go in to your Profile, then do edit Profile (to the right) you will see more tabs. One is Privacy and you can change your show email to only to staff.

Yep, I changed that setting but when I save it, it goes back to saying it will show it to everyone. I don't actually know where it shows my email address LOL I'm just taking preventative measures. Maybe it's not even showing up anywhere?

Ooops, sorry. I see you tried that. However, I am not seeing your email. Maybe others can look and see. Mine was set to show it to everyone, too. Do you see mine?

Interesting. It is doing the same to me. Do you see my email? I tried to change it to staff only, but it does pop back when I save.

Yeah, I had the same problem trying to set my email as private. meant to being the issue up & forgot. hopefully it doesn't show up, but I put in an email I use in unsafe places anyway.

I am not seeing any of your emails, so I assume you are safe dalaimama2. This brings up another topic I have been thinking about and feel it should be a group decision. I am going to send an email to all of your board inboxes before July 1st asking several questions. One of the questions will be if you would like people to be required to sign up to be able to read the forum. I can change certain privacy settings for the board and feel the need for member input before making those decisions [or not].
I just wondered if after everyone really started chatting and sharing things if a little privacy would be nice. It may help if we get found by spammers or people just trying to promote something instead of being a true member. [fingers crossed] That was the main thing that popped into my head. But I'm sure all of you will have your own thoughts and I would like to hear them since this board wouldn't exist without you.
